This unit features an input of 110,000 BTUs and an 80% AFUE (Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency), resulting in an output of 88,000 BTUs. This means 80% of the fuel consumed is converted into usable heat, while the remaining 20% is lost through the flue and standard furnace operations. As with all 80% efficiency models, metal flue venting is required. If your home requires plastic/PVC venting, you’ll need a furnace with at least 90% efficiency. The 110,000 BTU 80% AFUE Single Stage Multi-Positional Gas Furnace is configured for natural gas out of the box but can be converted to propane using an optional LP kit. This unit is not Low NOx or Ultra Low NOx compliant and may be subject to additional fees if shipped to California.
